Do you find yourself needing more organization in your life? As a teacher-author or teacher, I have discovered a great tool. It is even great for keeping your students organized!
Bye-bye procrastination with Focus to-do
Focus To-Do is an application that can be downloaded onto practically any device: Apple, Android, Mac, or Windows. It helps you set up goals for your work-time to accomplish goals, use time efficiently, and focus on how you spend your time. Kiss procrastination behind as your work becomes quicker and easier to manage, thanks to the Focus To-Do app.
What do the app do?
The Focus To-Do app is based on the Pomodoro Technique. The idea behind the Pomodoro Technique is to get more work accomplished, be less distracted, and work better during that time. The basic idea is that you work for 25 minutes, focused on a single task with no interruptions, then you get a 5-minute break and start another Pomodoro. After 3-4 Pomodoros, take a 15-30 minute break.
The Pomodoro Technique encourages people to break large, daunting tasks into smaller, more accomplishable goals. It also enables small, similar tasks to be grouped to fill up an entire Pomodoro to make sure the 25 minutes is used and productive.
The Focus To-Do app helps teachers, teacher-authors, and students are more successful with their time. It can be downloaded across several devices to record your time and see how your time is spent and where you can improve your work habits. It also comes with a timer and reminders to keep you on track. With the notes, subtask, and repeat tools, you will always know what you need to work on and can keep track of all your work in one place.
The Focus To-Do app has been a lifesaver for me and my teacher-author journey, and I think it will help you, too. Check out the app for yourself today!
