Are You A Course Junkie? 5 Great Courses for Teacher Authors

Are you a course-taking junkie? Should you be? 

My name is Heather, and I am a course-taking junkie. 

I am always trying to improve my business, find untapped avenues to expand my business, and help teachers as much as I can. I was a classroom teacher for a long time, and I know the strain you are under to try to do everything you require at school and then head home to be your own person with your family. Add to that your teacherpreneur efforts in your free time. It’s tough. 

It’s also tough to figure it all out on your own. If you are ready to learn something new to make teaching easier, make your teacherpreneur business easier, or make your life easier, I would recommend finding a course to walk you through it. 

Sometimes courses cost money, but you have to weigh the cost against the time and effort you would spend learning independently. In my experience, I have found that taking the course is usually more cost-effective.

TPT Focused Success by Shelly Rees This course is wonderful for those that are just starting. I enrolled in this course back in 2018, and it really helped me with my business. Shelly really helps you take your TPT business to the next level. She helps you understand where to put your focus in order to see the greatest growth.

Podcasting Academy For Teacherpreneurs by Trina Deboree Confidently deliver consistent value to teachers through podcasting. If you want to do podcasting for your classroom., for your teacher author business, or just education in general, I highly recommend taking Trina’s course.

School Of Sellers by Erin Waters Erin currently has 3 courses to offer. The Email Lab, Finishing Framework, and Teacher Seller Foundations. Erin always has a wealth of information to share. I have taken Finishing Framework, and I will have to say… it is AMAZING! She really knows how to streamline your business.

Boom Cards Designer Course by Heather Vanderboom. Learn everything you need to know about how to create Boom Cards. I give you a step-by-step method to creating Boom Cards for your classroom and beyond.

Cultivate by Tracy Morgan Are you new to Facebook Ads? Tracy (AKA FB Ads Fairy Godmother) walks you through how to get going and thrive step by step! Whether you are a Facebook newbie or if you have been running a few campaigns already, she will teach you how to go deeper, optimize your performance, and really get the most out of your ad spend.

Learning something new, especially on the internet with no guidance, is not easy. You can do it, though. There is no question that you can figure out new programs to aid in your teaching and teacherpreneur efforts, but a course can help make your life easier. You will have a thought-out course to guide you created by someone who really understands what you’re looking for and why you need the course they’re offering. They are experts, and you will benefit from their knowledge.

So, basically less effort from you, less stress on your life, and more time for your family and friends are what you gain from courses. 

Would that be worth it to you? It definitely is to me. That’s why I’m a course-taking junkie.
